I’m an NHS member of staff, how can I access medical e-resources?

Answer

To use the College’s e-journals, e-books and databases, we will issue you with an Imperial College London username and password when you register. Access is only available in the Library via our Imperial PCs or by using the Imperial College London Wi-Fi network on your own devices.

Sign into Library Search to browse our resources, make a request for an item which is on loan or at another campus, order an item not held by the College, or make a suggestion for an item to be purchased for the Library.

We also advise you to register for an OpenAthens account which will provide you with access to resources provided directly by the NHS, including databases, e-journals and e-books. In addition, your OpenAthens account provides access to KnowledgeShare, a resource that allows you to set up personalised updates of the latest evidence in topic areas important to you, as well as registering on the training sessions that the library is running. Register for KnowledgeShare by going to the website and logging in with your OpenAthens account.
